-was the prince of kingdom of Weberin (Vay-baren) on the mainland
-heir to the throne
-on a rite of passage mission to inherit the throne, also the ancient holy dwarven armour that has helped them protect their small kingdom in the mountains for a thousand generations
-when he returned, the kingdom was ravaged. everything destroyed, every person missing or dead, the sacred armory desecrated and empty
-Gesu’Nin then wanders, lost and without direction, his rage keeping him alive
-in his travels he comes across a body buried in a tree. recognizes it as one of his own people, brutally disfigured and bloodied. buries it. continues to wander, finds multiple others, forming a trail. blindly he follows it up an over a mountain.
-at the peak, he finds a thousand-year-old mage-hermit in a cave who offers him shelter and guidance. Ges is crippled with emotional trauma, hasn’t eaten for a week and is near death.
-takes part in a dangerous ancient ritual to split his personality
-wakes up on the shore of tela island, his journey has taken him to tela. puts a scar on his arm each time he finds another body. ra’kanin is barely aware of the ritual.
