Samual was the alpha of the Meers pack which dissapeared decades earlier. The pack drove off the Alder Man but did not manage to destroy him.

Samual and his pack were eventually destroyed by a Pure pack chasing after an ancient Bone Shadow fetish called the Hiranzu Hithri (Thunder Bird Staff).
