Bio

A descendant of the original anglo-saxon thegn of these lands, Aelred spent many years as a soldier, meeting and befriending a Norman soldier, John Corbett. When John was knighted and given the lands near Aelred’s old home, Aelred returned and has acted as Sir John’s right-hand man ever since. Many of the English peasants in the area actually consider Aelred to be their actual lord – something that amuses Sir John and embarrasses Aelred.
