Bio

Sir John is your typical middle-aged knight. Having served in a number of military campaigns – most recently under the great knight William Marshall – and having earned both his spurs and his lands due to his services, he has married and settled down.

A fairly good lord, he is loyal and just in his treatment of his people, a fact that many of the English attribute to his friendship with Aelred, a decendant of the old anglo-saxon thegn of these lands.

He is happily married to Matilda of Rovingsbroke and they have 3 children, 12, 7, and 5 (2 boys and 1 girl).
