Bio

Sariadoc Flardingin grew up in a typical Qadiran Halfling family, that is, he was a slave. His master, Abdul-Aziz M’ealej, was a powerful wizard specializing in the summoning of genies and djinn. He was also extremely cruel to his slaves. Even though slaves are forbidden to learn to read, Sariadoc’s natural intelligence allowed him to learn from scraps and letters he was able to steal from his master. Eventually, he would sneak into his master’s library and read arcane writings on summoning.

One night, Abdul-Aziz’s tower was attacked. The attackers turned out to be another group of halflings, all sporting a blue flower pin on their tunics. Abdul-Aziz was killed in the battle and the halflings declared the slaves to be free.

Having no other talents than slavery and what little knowledge of magic he could learn from his readings, Sariadoc set out on his own. He can usually be found on the coastal outskirts of Cassadega, fishing for sustenance with his eidolon, Komodo. But what he really wishes for is to find and join the ranks of the halflings that freed him, so that he can in turn free halflings kept in slavery everywhere.
