Bio
Suraja is the daughter of a construction worker who met Suraja’s mother during a demolition he was
conducting. Kali has maintained a sporadic presence in her daughter’slife, and she was a good mother but a terrible partner. During the time when she spent time with Suraja’s father, she wreaked havoc on his life, but Suraja always treasured her mother’s brief visits.
Suraja had no idea as to her mother’s true identity until she was seventeen, the first time she was arrested. Her mother swept in, posted bail, and told Suraja the truth. Leaving her with a necklace dangling tiny ivory skulls and a lot of questions, Suraja’s mom disappeared that night.
She’s an angry punk rocker type with a penchant for resorting to violence when intimidation doesn’t work.
