Chas Tessio was bornon the 17th of April 1928 to a long tradition of organized crime. His father’s father was a mobster in the old country,so it was only natural that Chas would follow in his family’s footsteps. What you see with Chas is what you get. He is a thug and an enforcer. From an early age, he enjoyed violence and its results-fear and respect. Chas’s temper was legendary, and for that reason, he would never make it beyond a button man or an under-cappo.

Chas had no belief in the supernatural other than what was taught to him by the Catholic Church. He made it a point to go every Sunday to mollify his wife and set an example for his children. He had two. By the time Chas was a young man there was less use for his kind in the mob. The families were trying to legitimize themselves and getting out of the loan sharking and extortion rackets and emphasizing legal gambling and drugs where there was no room for a hot head like Chas Tessio. Yet Don Guiseppi-,a legendary Don, was grooming him as his personal button man and bodyguard. The Don demanded absolute and unquestioning loyalty from his soldiers, and he continually tested Chas. Chas hardly saw him-only receiving abrupt orders mostly through Cappos or over the phone.

Then one evening he discovered Don Guiseppi at his home with a couple of his Cappos. Chas wondered why Don Guiseppi should visit him at home? He had never done such a thing before…He wondered briefly where his wife and children were before Don Guiseppi threw him up against the wall and bit into his neck. The Embrace was far from gentle and far from painless. When he awoke he was ravenously hungry….not knowing exactly what he was hungry for…..When his vision cleared somewhat he saw his wife,his daughter and Chas Jr tied up. He could hear their beating hearts from across the room…The last thing he remembers were the heartless chuckles of Don Giuseppi and his men and then the screams of his wife and children.

After that,Chas was never quite the same-more monster than kindred especially when he becomes enraged,fortunately for everyone in his vicinity this doesn’t happen all that often,but when it does….Chas is the first to send flowers and a bereavement card-more as a gesture than from any real feeling. He lost most of his humanity the night of his Embrace. Naturally Chas has become a special enforcer,fighting Sabbat or the Camarilla-anyone who doesn’t accept his clan. He is an efficient and deadly to his enemies.

Chas has worked in Las Vegas,Phoneix,San Diego,Los Angeles,San Francisco and now Portland where by special arrangement with the Interim Prince Olaf he has become the Primogen of the Brujah clan. Finally Chas has become the Boss.

Chas hates the Sabbat.They’re bad for business and fuck up every town they inhabit for any period of time. He is happy to to help Prince Olaf and his Brujah comrades in trouble. When he performs his duty he will be content. Chas’s goals and motivations are to create a pizza parlor in Portland which he wants to call Tessio’s built on the ruins of the old Setite club Bathoroy’s. In the old temple he will create a high stakes casino. Tessio enjoys gambling. He will strive for some influence on the streets mostly running numbers,“protection” some drugs and a bit of prostitution if he can find the right ladies. He wants to be an old school mobster. Chas is all about making serious money and staying in Portland for a while.

Chas is a burly individual with patent black combed back hair. There is something vaguely inhuman about his eyes-They’re like shark eyes. As a primogen,he will generally follow the Nosferatu and Gangrel lead. He will be suspicious of the Toreador,Malkavian and Tremere unless they prove to him otherwise. He will be dead set against the Ventrue on all fronts. He hates the Ventrue and their ponce ways.
