Juan “Machete” Tornado is the leader of the North East Cuchillos which is one of the most numerous gangs in Portland. He was also Pedro’s first ghoul and his gateway to getting in contact with the other Mexican gangs of Portland.

The Cuchillos are primarily in the marijuana trade along with cocaine and street prostitution. Javier Gomez aka Go-Go is also affiliated with the North East Cuchillos and a well known pimp. He receives protection from the Cuchillos and they receive a piece in cash or trade… Juan Machete Tornado is a mucular man due to years of working out in lock up and heavily tattooed. His most impressive tattoo is a large Mexican flag on his chest. Tornado has long black hair streaked with grey. His face is lined and scarred. He is in his 60’s but due to the vampiric vitae in his system he looks much younger.

When Tornado is in the pen he is a soldier for the Mexican Mafia or El Eme-He sometimes makes hits on their behest. He has 19 members in his gang. They all wield knives of different sizes and shapes along with handguns. Only Juan “Machete” is allowed to use the machete. He also uses a 12 gauge pump action shotgun to get his message across.
