Vera used to do double duty as far as being both a herd member at the Toreador clubs and a blood doll at Bathoroy’s. She is fairly addicted to the Kiss and will do anything to experience it. Vera is 25 years old and a goth girl with a dyed black cleopatra hair style and rather pale skin from receiving the kiss on a regular basis. She has full red lips which are at times painted black.

Vera was fairly deep into the gothic sub-culture. She lived alone in the northwest section of the city and lived at the Lovejoy Apartments. In her spare time,she enjoyed making her own clothes and made intricate lace dresses and lingerie. She would have liked to one day go to art school and she was saving money to be able to do so. She worked part-time as a dancer at a couple of clubs namely the Caberet and Union Jacks-both Toreador holdings. It wasn’t her ideal career choice, but it did pay the bills and she was able to put some money in the bank too with a fraction of the time expenditure working as, say, a waitress.

Edmund the former Toreador primogen considered her his property and one of his herd,but then again, he considered all the dancers members of his herd. Vera paid Edmund a few nocturnal visits to be fed upon which she enjoyed more than her sexual encounters,and she made friends with Lilly Maxwell. Lilly became Edmund’s new favorite and Vera was a bit envious about that. Vera was also a habituee of the Setite operated Bathoroy’s when it existed. She knew a little about kindred- more than most mortals. She had obtained her information through careful observation and offhand questions. She knew Edmund was a vampire and that Synthia at Bathoroys was also a vampire among several others,but she kept her mouth shut about that. She was fascinated by them and it was a secret she kept to herself making her feel superior to her friends who thought they knew about vampires.

She met Jen who had actually fed her some of her vitae instead of taking it. Afterward she felt that she wanted to be with Jen all the time. She thought she was becoming a “renfield” She just hoped she didn’t go crazy and start eating bugs and worms and stuff. She did feel stronger,but no urges to eat bugs -she just found herself looking for Jen’s texts on her phone and hoping she would be fed more of her vitae when she paid one of her unexpected visits.It became even a stronger addiction than the kiss. But she still adored the kiss. Jen had her going to this tavern near Mt Tabor called the MoonHeart for some reason. It was her job to get the names of the regulars there and as much information as possible. She wasn’t quite sure why this was so important to her but she felt needed by Jen and Jen fed her more after she made her request.

Then there was a time that Vera didn’t see Jen for a long time. A lot of terrible things happened with her and her sire having to do with werewolves. She wondered what they might be,but they seemed to have a dramatic effect on vampires when mentioned. She feared the worse,but came to understand that Gangrel tend to disappear for long stretches. In the meantime- ,one of Jen’s allies paid her a visit at her apartment-a certain Euronymous. Vera found him very magnetic and knew right away that he was a vampire. He was much like Edmund except with more bad-boy appeal…She offered him her blood,and he,in turn, offered her his vitae,but Vera refused him as she belonged to Jen or so she thought. The two had many conversations about life,unlife and the Spirit world. Euronymous seemed interested in her belief system. Vera told him that she was baptized a Lutheran as a child,and was interested in Ceremonial Magick and dabbled in Luciferian Chaos Satanism,but in the end, Vera told him she was undecided,but was attracted by Aleister Crowley and Thelema Mysticism…Euronymous was impressed with her knowledge of the occult and the basics of Magick.

Euronymous told her of a dark mistress who would manifest whom he had seen manifest numerous times as a fledgling in New Orleans. Euronymous claimed that she will teach her loyal followers mighty spells and powerful rituals. Euronymous asked if she wanted to join the nest,and help call Lucretia forth. She hesitated at first.

When Jen returned to Portland,she became closer to Euronymous enslaved by him really-and Vera felt ignored and she had to wonder to herself if the she acted likewise under the influence of the blood bond to friends she once knew,and she realized she had acted just the same. Jen then traded her for John DeLong or Doom,and she realized how little she meant to her dark mistress to be cast aside in such a way. The next time Euronymous approached her;she belonged to him, and he Embraced her. Meanwhile Jen had embraced Doom.

Vera knows that the ritual is going to happen soon. She has not been presented to anyone except to some of the other nest members, namely Jen,Brian,Karla and Doom. She has been told to keep a low profile,but she is in Camas and Euronymous and Vera are the only vampires in town. Euronymous has had her memorize her part of the ritual. He is also teaching her how to hunt and use her disciplines in addition to engaging in various depraved acts which has caused Vera to become closer to her beast.Vera is falling in love with Euronymous as he has fed her his vitae twice. The only thing left is to abduct the sacrifice. Vera is very curious about Lucretia,but reluctant to take part in the ritual due to the brutality of it…The idea sort of makes her sick,but excited also. The human part of Vera is hoping that she will be sent to infiltrate Vancouver instead of taking part in the actual sacrifice. Her vampiric self is willing to do anything to attain more power.

Vera’s goals are to learn more about her undead self and delve deeper into her sensuality,her powers,and what she is capable of. She is just beginning to revel in her power, now that the initial shock of the Embrace has dissipated. She realizes that she is immortal.
