Backstory

The centerpiece in Javier’s livingroom is a large decorated coffee table that doubles as a coffin. (The coffin/sleeper portion slides out the side like a drawer and has a latch that can be locked and/or opened from either side.) It is well grounded and sits 5 inches off the ground (all told) and also has a couple of drawers beneath the top for things such as television remotes and video game controllers. It was a very expensive custom job from a skilled kindred craftsman Javier knew from the San Francisco kink scene.
