Bio

Teremia, and her sister Silance, were born after Zuzeca, a powerful black dragon, took on humanoid form and deceitfully seduced their dragonborn mother, Makara. Teremia learned shortly before being forced from her homeland that the birth of an albino daughter to a “great black beast” was foretold by a renowned oracle of Ioun in the last days of the Zaranth empire, but details of that telling have seemingly been lost to the ages.

After realizing she was pregnant, Makara left her village and sought sanctuary in the town of Maha Vira. The townsfolk were uneasy about taking her in, but could not turn a pregnant woman asking for shelter out into the surrounding wilderness.

Though never accepted, Makara and her offspring were tolerated despite the fact that one of her young brood exhibited strange behaviors, including petty thievery, talking to herself, showing extreme disrespect for others, and other antisocial acts.

The sisters, and presumably their mother, were driven away from Maha Vira after Silance inexplicably slaughtered the rest of their brood one year to the day after their birth. This act of extreme violence went against everything the town stood for, and the Council of Elders decreed that the family be driven from its borders and never allowed to return.

Hours before they were exiled, a wizened old man whispered this little bit of the prophecy to Teremia, along with the word “Adiroth.” She believes that this word holds the key to the prophecy, but does not yet know what or where Adiroth might be.
