Background
Eamon is young by Eladrin standards, just 91 years of age. He has spent his entire life within the safe, nurturing confines of the Sinthian lands. There, he received a formal Sinthian education that instilled in him a deep understanding of arcana, history, religion, and the natural world. But he has never left Sinthia, never seen the cities and towns of mankind, never seen a man.

Having recently completed his formal studies, Eamon has now entered the period of his life the Sinthian refer to as Rumspringa, which translates literally into the common tongue as “running around”. It is the time for taking those first tentative steps into adulthood, making one’s own choices, rebelling, even, against the rules of parents and society.

Eamon’s rebellion takes the form of an insatiable wanderlust and desire to experience the world firsthand. While most Sinthians would pay little attention to the travails of man, having seen them rise and fall, come and go, at such a rapid pace, Eamon is fascinated by the amusing, short-lived creatures. They seem to mature almost instantly, work and toil like madmen for a few years, then fall over dead! Eamon is like a human child entranced by fireflies. His fascination with humans will most likely last for only a short time, 20 or 30 years, then disappear forever from his being. When that happens, it will signify the end of his Rumspringa period, and he will return to Sinthia to continue his studies, never setting foot in the world of man again.

But before that time comes, many miles will pass beneath his feet. Eamon has left his Sinthian home and beloved Kiahallah forest and set his path towards the setting sun, for beyond the western horizon lies Kannoniah, the realm of men. As he approached the Sinthian frontier he was overtaken by a lone rider. It was not often that a Sinthian ventured out into the wild, and word had spread far and wide within Sinthia of Eamon’s rather unorthodox Rumspringa.

Abilities
Eamon was trained for decades by his father Amanon, a master Eladrin mage, in the magical arts. Eamon proved to be a quick study with an aptitude for cold-based spells, and his skill and knowledge progressed at a rapid pace. While his arsenal includes many types of spells, he always has an array of cold spells ready for any situation.

Besides his magical training, Eamon also received an extensive formal education focused on Arcana, History, Religion, and Nature. Eamon continues his education today as he travels the world, diligently observing his surroundings and taking copious notes in his journals.
