Bio
Ettorio was born into House Iluni in Cinquedea, but through his childhood quickly developed a razor-sharp level of concentration; that is to say, it was a very short step from “utterly engrossed” to “totally bored.” His family, used to dealing with the boredom common to their House, encouraged him in a number of pursuits from history to painting to sport, but only two seemed to hold his attention for any length of time: blades and women. He soon earned the disparaging nickname of “the Fox” due to his cunning and tendency turn up in places he shouldn’t have been.
One day, he went too far. He was found in the bedroom of the daughter of a well-placed Rovino noble – one promised to a noteworthy ally of the Iluni. The Rovino planned to demonstrate the quality of his House’s arms on Ettorio’s hide, but the Iluni quickly had Ettorio escorted out of town and to the principality of Calvera and the villa of one of their distant cousins, Master Andelac Borsari, to lie low for a year or so – one who had a well-respected Blademaster on staff. Ettorio consented, and has decided to focus on his bladework instead of his swordplay for the time being.
