She joined the army as soon as they would let her, but she never had the chance to see battle. Instead, her role was commonly to remain behind the front lines and help with triage.
A little slow when it comes to understanding the world around her, her bedside manner (or lack thereof when dealing with Ulrick) and people skills make her a useful ally.
