Bio

Alasahar was once an angel of valor, fighting in the endless wars that take place on the outskirts of Pelor’s dominion. Being immortal, he soon grew tired of the war and started questioning whether there was any point at all: a heretical thought that led him to fall willingly into the mortal world, seeking the answer to the question that burnt brilliantly within his mind.

Alasahar’s violent tendencies have led him to seek out warlike professions throughout his many lives: dogsoldier, militant general, lieutenant, sergeant, city watchman, security officer, mercenary… the list goes on. But the calling to the divine was always just as strong. As a dogsoldier he worshipped Kord and praised his strength; as a general he dedicated his armies and battles to Bahamut; as a watchman he set up shrines to Avandra. The spark of the divine runs through Alasahar’s very soul, and it is a calling he is proud to serve.

In his latest incarnation, Alasahar regained consciousness in the sacred halls of the City’s temple of Pelor, and soon became an outstanding priest, well-versed in book and rite. However, he was too violent even for the warlike order of the clerics; Alasahar’s master saw within him the spark necessary for induction into the secret society that was the Invokers, and did so.

While on the outside he still behaves much like a cleric of Pelor, Alasahar has since been initiated into the Order of the Shadowed Hand, a secret society that all invokers of all religions belong to. As far as he knows, this is the only Order of invokers around in the City, but the City is a big place, and his knowledge somewhat limited.
