The Sword Coast
A brave group of heroes has journeyed to the city of Neverwinter. The city has seen better days, for now it has been wounded and left to die. The first blow came from the Spellplague and second a cataclysm that shook the earth and caused Mount Hotenow to erupt. It has been 27 years since the devastation laid waste to the region and the population remains tenacious, trying to rebuild. But it is a dangerous world.
Our heroes were thrust together by chance and now rely on each others strengths. Who knows what each has as a goal or where their path will lead. There is Thorfin the dwarven fighter who dreams of a lost city. Amnon the old spell slinger and afflicted has come to the city to learn more. Kennis Zoeker looks for his lost god and seeks to restore knowledge. Brandis, a noble paladin, seeks to ensure the safety of his people. Funkstar Funkadelic the crafty drow rogue with his unknown goals.
Even though the events that crippled the city were more than two decades ago, the city struggles to push back the chaos and restore the city. Lord Neverember, from Waterdeep, has come to restore the city and lends his money to buy both soldiers and craftsmen. But what does he desire? There also seems to be other powers at play within the city.
