Reyran is Salina’s older half-brother. Despite having a different father, he has a lot more in common with Salina than Amero. Like her, he is quite out-going and relaxed in his relationships. Salina is still impressed at how he is still able to pick up women despite his (justified) reputation of a casanova. Watching him has taught her a lot about what people actually want to hear and how you can almost always get what you want if you can talk well enough.

He has found his equal in Athy Merana, the daughter of a travelling merchant, whom he owes quite a bit of money. When their business started crumbling because of Alina’s reputation, he borrowed money from her in exchange for pretending to be her lover whenever she wanted to get back at her father. He has kept this secret from his family to protect them. Despite his apparent disinterested actions, Reyran is very aware of the needs of their little group and prepared to do almost anything to keep them alive and on the road.
