Another freed slave, Dalila was Bloodbeard’s spiritual advisor, for the beliefs of the crude and cruel Pirate King were close akin to these of the black tribes. Dalila was almost as feared as Bloodbeard himself, partly because of her insisting to have a crew member sacrificed before every battle. Straton the Abstinent and Dalila, rivals and opposites in many a way, hated each other and tried many times to assassinate the other one.
Dalila is, obviously, a member of the Tribe of the Turtle. She weighs about 500 pounds, huge even by the standards of her own people. As members of her Tribe believe a warlock’s power is measured by his or her girth, Delilah must be very powerful indeed. For more than 20 years, the Kernian authorities have placed a huge bounty on her head, for the triple crime of being a pirate, a warlock and a bone ugly nigger.

Fat Dalilah returned to her people, powerful enough after her travels to be granted the ultimate honor for an Ademorran warlock: to become a Lich. She was elected as one of The Four, four neophyte Liches sent to destroy Shairra. Luring power-hungry fools to her, she took over control of the Wizards’ Tower and the temple of Cythaerea, posing as Archiphanes and the Masked One. Twice she was defeated by ‘the Seekers of Bhool’, but not after pushing many of them over the edge of frustration, despair and exhaustion.
Dalilah was stopped before she could take over Sandar Silvermaul and his inquisitors, but she still had time enough to awaken the White Hydra.

Two months later, she raided with an army of undead Safe Haven and stole one of the Hydra Ships. On the Isle of Bhool, she ambushed her six arch-enemies, but despite the aid of the White Hydra itself, she was defeated and her philactery was smashed to pieces by Tjikka.
