Description

Standing at a height of five and a half feet tall, his frail frame is covered with what was once white robes. Now they serve as his palette and are painted with all manner of dyes he often samples in the wild. A peculiar broach holds a tattered cloak about his neck, worn by those of The Ripodhan Order. Since he keeps his face covered with a thick scarf nothing else can be seen of the man beyond his dark green eyes and pure white hair. Unusual for one of only 28 years of age.

Bio

Seeming indifferent when asked his name he shrugs and replies he was known by many names, “Pello”… “Ico”… or just “Switch”.

Pello had a very poor upbringing, both in social standing and general treatment. His family were laborers. Being part of a small tribe they where used rather than relied upon to do all of the menial tasks required by the elder. Never fit by any means and quite useless in the eyes of his betters Pello was sentenced at the age of 16 to be given rituals beatings and then sacrificed. Before they could send him on his way, Pello assaulted his captors with ceramic jars he found near at hand. Little did he know they held a powerful hallucinogen that provided the perfect distraction for his escape.

He attached himself to the first person with the misfortune to find him, a man named Tirion who was a spy in the employ of Nesios. Unable to shake him the two spent a short time traveling together mingling with the higher-class citizens under King Themarodes. This was not time well spent being unable to speak Ajani, or any other language than his own native tongue for that matter. On one fateful occasion drawing unwanted attention to his mentor, they where driven from Thasos by armed guards. Fleeing southeast along the mountains during a fierce storm Pello was struck down by lightning. Tirion took this opportunity to be rid of his unwanted pupil.

Pello awoke (intrigued to no end to find his hair had turned white!) in the care of one of The Ripodhan Order. The physician left his mark on Pello, who vowed to himself that he would learn and catalogue the uses of all the plants and herbs in Ulm. He quickly learned that his order was already well practiced and had for the most part already taken care of this. To this day he is still seeking a way into Skyrdh to see what the mysterious land of the elves has to offer.
