History: Luke Spencer is a former sniper in the US Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment, serving in Somalia and Kosovo. After retiring from the Army, he was recruited by the Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate. Agent Spencer served under Directors Hill and Stark, working as a liaison with newly registered superpowered operatives. SHIELD, having seen the ease with which Agent Spencer gets along with many of the superpowered operatives, was a natural fit for the Fifty State Initiative.
Personality: Luke is a genial, easy going person. He has many friends among his fellow agents and operatives though when in the field he takes his duties and responsibilities seriously. He is good to work with and his background and tactical training give him an advantage in combat situations. Though almost certainly not the most powerful member of his team (relying instead on his training and tools), he is often able to assist and direct his more powerful comrades.
Abilities & Resources: As a SHIELD agent, Luke has access to above average firearms, body armor and tools of the trade necessary to keep the world’s premiere intelligence agency operating. In addition, his years of physical and mental training and discipline have left him in excellent shape for a man his age.
