Erradus, Reporting for duty.
Hail fellow adventures! My Names is Erradus, Paladin to the church of Desna. My Church has received word of your noble quest and has sent me to aid in any way I can. Thank Desna I arrived just in time because, if I understand correctly, you’re most brave and noble fighter Durgrim Died right before my arrival. His name has traveled far and wide with his tales of honor and bravery, I wished I could have known such a great being but apparently the gods deemed that is not meant to be. Just so we can get better acquainted I will tell you a little about myself. I originally hail from the lands to the south of here in the Cheliax – Nidal regions but exactly where I do not know. Everything from when I was a child has been sealed and locked away. The earliest memories are of my Mother , father , older brother and younger sister and then of the church. I was only able to find bits and pieces of information concerning my past before I came to the church. The information states there was a fortress in the lands between cheliax and Nidal that was raised to the ground by an army that followed fiends. The fortress was a beacon of light in the lands of darkness that surrounded it. They say I was the only survivor (and body) found when Paladins and soldiers of the church arrived to give aid. Besides my clothing the only items I had on me was a ring on chain around my neck and the bastard sword I carry, each with odd markings but no one has been able to tell me the meaning behind them.
Erradus! Welcome and thank you for introducing yourself. It seems you may have been misled about Durgrim’s skills and character, but that is of no consequence at this time.
Fortunately, a paladin is a paragon of virtue and I look forward to you setting a shining example of the lawful and good path for the other members of the group. Desna’s blessings be upon you.
Hey, what ever happened to Erradus, anyway?
