Lord Kratos Stealle is the Admiral of the Penwick Navy. At age 44, he is one of the most famous and skilled swordsman in all of Thac, being a Master Spiritblade. He is a tall man, lean and muscular. And although there is a touch of grey at the temples, his is still quite handsome, with piercing blue eyes and otherwise jet black hair.

Kratos heralds from the House of Stealle. His father Pallas, and his grandfather, Mythos, were spiritblades as well; swordsmanship ran in the family. Rumor has it the house had a Titan bloodline running through it. Members of this house are always tall, and occasionally, one of the line appears who is abnormally strong and extremely healthy. Mythos was the last of the family exhibiting these traits up until the birth of the young Lloyd Stealle.

At the age of 20, Kratos slew the evil Pirate Eboneye and his crew of vicious pirates that had attacked and laid waste to Penwick. He received the Knight of Valor commendation for his deed, one of many medals to come. At the age of 22, Kratos married his long time sweetheart, Lara Hault of the Penwick House of Hault. Lara, a very bright and beautiful woman was a budding wizard. Together the two of them, along with the wealthy families of Hault and Stealle, helped to rebuild Penwick.

Kratos, being a warrior, concentrated on the building of a Penwick fleet. Today those vessels number 6 battleships of the line, and thirty well armed merchant marine vessels. The Lord Stealle also helped his brother-inlaw, Argis, train the Penwick army. In fact, Kratos opened the “Stealle School of the Blade” specifically for this purpose, and many of the army soldiers were his first students.

At the same time, Lara opened the “Stealle Academy of Magic”. She also got involved in a number of reconstruction projects and social programs designed to uplift the stricken community and rebuild their fair city. Today, though it is not the largest city in Thac, Penwick is quite beautiful with tall buildings, great bridges, a public garden and a large temple dedicated to the God Arenor.

Kratos currently captains the Crusader, the flag ship of the Penwick fleet. He sits on the Penwick High Council as Admiral of the Navy, along with his wife, who is High Wizard, and his brother inlaw Argis, who is General of the Penwick Army. The Stealle family continues its staunch support of the fair city, between their involvement in the military, politics, their two schools, and funding various social programs and community projects to uplift the 9,000 residents of the once beleaguered city.

Kratos and Lara have three children: their eldest son Pallas, named after Kratos father, 22 years old, a spiritblade, and a Lieutenant in the Royal Penwick Navy; their daughter Thea, 20 years old, an Auric Priestess of Arenor; and their youngest son Lloyd, a spiritblade and a member of the companions from Ravenford.

In his spare time, Kratos, is developing another style of spiritblade techniques, simply referred to as the Stealle style, along with his son Pallas.
