Thea Stealle
Auric Priestess of Arenor
Description
Bio
Thea Stealle is a very strong willed young woman. She learned to stand on her own two feet due to her mostly absentee mother. She never held any grudge against Lara. No one can ever stay mad at Lara Stealle, one of the most giving, selfless individuals in all of Thac. Lara was forever in her lab, out at sea, at the “Stealle Academy of Magic”, or around the town helping with community projects or social programs.
Thus Thea modeled herself after her mother. By the time she was six, she had already begun to look after her baby brother, Lloyd. He became her “child” so to speak. Pallas, the older brother, ignored both of them, being 2 years senior. He only hung with dad until he began to train as a Spiritblade. But once he started, they never saw him anymore. He was always at the “Stealle School of the Blade” in the center of Penwick.
But Thea also fiercely admired her father. Kratos was quite handsome and dashing, and Thea was his only girl. So she took up the art of the Spiritblade at the age of 10, mostly to impress her father and spend time with him. Tall and lithe, she moved extremely well, and what she did not have in strength, she made up for in agility. But Thea has a very deep spiritual side. Her command of the spirit made her into a formidable student of the blade.
That is until she was 15 and Arenor came to her at night in a dream. She woke up the next morning and went to Penwick’s Church of Arenor. Having the healing touch, she quickly rose up the ranks. Within a few short years she was accepted onto the chosen path of a Auric Priestess of Arenor. The Auric Priests and Priestesses of Arenor are special devotees to the Sun God. They carry his light around inside them and at will, can expend this light in defense against the darkness. So while they are excellent healers, they are scourges of evil, especially undead.
About six months before Lloyd left Penwick, he, his brother Pallas, Kratos and Thea joined their uncle Argis, General of the Penwick Army, on a hunt for some bandits who were sacking nearby towns. They finally caught up with the scoundrels in Keltin. During the battle, Thea surprised her family by leaping into the thick of things and slicing through some bandits. It was like she had never stopped her Spiritblade studies. And in fact, she had not. To this day, she still trains a full hour with her twin knives.
