Ari, I think, is a very quiet person. Normally, she doesn’t mind just going with the flow, but if you try to get her to do something that she has a good reason for not doing(and yes, she counts really disliking whatever it is as a good reason) you can’t make her budge an inch.
She loves being in space, and she loves flying, because she loves the idea and feeling of having no restrictions on which way she might turn next. Left, right. Up, down, it doesn’t matter. Being on the ground, and having to watch which direction she turns in all the time, irritate her.(growing up in the desert doesn’t encourage trust in where your feet are planted) Though since she also loves exploring new places and seeing new things, it’s usually a few days, maybe weeks, till the itchy feet set in. Then she’ll be wanting to go somewhere. Even if it’s just to the other side of that same world.

She initially got an out-of-world job to get away from her well meaning but over protective parents. She made the decision after an argument with her father about her leaving home. Ha had pronounced that where ever she went it this world, it didn’t matter, because he would always find her and bring her home! She had replied, “Fine! I won’t BE in this world!”
She misses them some, but as she is not ready to be locked in her room with her widows barred (as she knows she will be if her parents get hold of her..) she is in no hurry to go back.
