Welcome to the Kingdom of Thassiloni.

This kingdom has weathered many dangers in recent history. From the recently obtained cease-fire agreement with the Elven Kingdom of Aereni to the west, to the constantly annoying goblin tribes causing trouble in the east.

In the south, you have the great valley. No one knows what caused the creation of the great valley, but the strange halflings keep the valley protected. The arrangements between the halflings and the royal family have been in place for many hundreds of years. They are a strange race, a barbaric race, but their viciousness has long kept their half of the southern border safe from bandits and illegal immigrants from the southern coastal kingdom of Shoan.

To the north is the great mountain ranges of the dwarves. A vile cheating race, always trying to cheat others out of the minerals that the mountains produce. There are trade villages in the north specifically to trade with the dwarves, as no one wants their dirty hairy cheating selves any further into the kingdom.

Xenos can’t be trusted, as none of them have the interest of the human race solely in mind. Even the halflings are looked at in suspicion, but they are a useful bunch..for now. Shoan on the other hand allows for a disgusting amount of intermingling between the races. It is said that in Shoan you can do something as vile as marrying your dwarven neighbor, or worse, your elven one. While such atrocities are not allowed in the noble Kingdom of Thassilon, we cannot survive without trade relations with Shoan, so we must keep our distaste to ourselves.
