Description

This ring enhances the bearer’s knowledge of lore. For every level (take max level for multi/dual class characters), the ring provides a 5% chance of knowledge of some relevant fact on a subject of the bearer’s choosing. This power works 1/day.

The % chance the ring reveals something is increased by 5% for each language the bearer has a R/W proficiency in, for any proficiencies in history, and for proficiency in heraldry, religion, and spellcraft. There is no limit to the cumulative bonus, except the ring will never have a greater than 95% chance of revealing something relevant.

The kind of information revealed must be historical or scientific in nature.

“Did the Sob-Rooz ever have a plan to invade the Kingdom of Yazd?” is ok. “Does the captain of the Blue Griffons plan to fight for the Choghans?” is not ok.

“What are the weaknesses of grimlocks?” is ok. “How many grimlocks are in this cave?” is not ok.
