Cole Rand grew up in a poor house in San Diego, CA. His parents were content with their lot in life, but Cole wasn’t. He would think that if they just worked a little harder they could have raised their station. Seeing how his parents acted when Cole was determined not to live that life forever. When he was old enough he worked as many jobs as he could to pay for a good education. He was cutthroat in his work ethic. Reporting minor infractions at every turn and refusing to help his co-workers as he elected for a positive reinforcement approach. Eventually he graduated with a masters in English and became a professional writer of political and social non-fiction. His books were popular with a small subset of the populace who were into liberation ideals and rational thought. His readership was small, but he felt the people who were smart enough would find his books naturally. The rest were beyond help. Cole feels his mission in life is to change the world. To put the individual human on top of all social decisions, and rid the world of tyranny and fuzzy thinking is that mission. He’s naturally a skeptic of anything supernatural, but if confronted with the power to achieve his goals he’s willing to embrace anything…
