Manannán mac Lir is the divine parent of Brendan Gair, Cordelia Lynch and Lord of Mag Mell.

He was not well pleased at Brendan Gair’s refusal of lineage at the time of his visitation, nevertheless he left certain gifts with Brendan Gair in hopes that he would change his mind.

Manannán mac Lir appeared to Laurel Kladakos in a vision upon her formal adoption of Brendan Gair. He was mistrustful of her poking into another pantheon’s business and to make certain her intentions were pure placed a geas upon her to protect all children lest her very body turn against itself.

It was discovered that mac Lir had in fact orchestrated a great illusion over everyone and has been living in the guise of Hachiman. After many months of work the workers that were charged with digging into Mag Mell discovered a coffin buried hundreds of yards beneath the surface. The coffin contained a bound and gagged Loki.

In late 2011 Manannán mac Lir’s son Brendan came to Mag Mell and took up ruling the land as his father had intended. Manannán began serving as an adviser to the young boy as h lacked experience and knowledge necessary to rule a people. Shortly there after the fomorian forces of Crom Cruach found a way to reenter Mag Mell. After the titanic forces were at bay Manannán entered intellect virtue extremity trying to discover how the titans were accomplishing what they were and why. Although he discovered why the titans had beat such a hasty retreat he has yet to fathom what their overall goal was.
