Sengokurov is a place of fantasy, where the far east meets the wild west. Where industrial steampunk influences are counter balanced by sword and silk. Where revolutionary sciences, are revolutionized by the mystical powers of the soul.

Sengokurov was not always the peaceful world it would seem to be today. It is a land of powers, and elements. Of dieties, and their wrath. Fire, Wind, Water, and Earth are in a constant struggle as are their hybrid children. After a cataclysmic event 4 centuries ago they are finally in balance with a 5th element blood(Maho) thrown in the mix.

With no standing government, and power being seized by the strongest… the stage has been set for some epic showdowns. But who will come out on top? The great Clans, Remnants of long forgotten families, and borders? The newcomers, Races descended from the spirit realm who just want to fit in? Or will it be the Maho-Tsukai, powerful sorcerers who use blood and sacrifices to embellish their wocked power. Or, perhaps it will be the army of Jigoku, realm of the spirits and the dead.
