Description

Conner has a son Kurt from his first wife, Amanda Michaels, who was killed in an attempt by Blue Sun to take their son. Conner, a Navy Lt Cmdr (engineering) at the time fled the Core with his son to avoid capture. He had many adventures with his son, building a crew and stealing a ship.

He had engine trouble and sent out a distress signal and ambushers came to rob him. They fought off the criminals and discovered the had a knack for it, so they continued that “business” model in lieu of “working for a living”. Once or twice they caught legitimate freighters and while they did not harm them, they did rob them…a man has to eat, after all…though once the war broke out that faded away when the Capt managed to finagle letters of the marque from both sides and proceeded to rob the trade fleets of both sides with impunity.

This continued until his heart was stolen by Lyrette Coffey, who then proceeded to find a way to heal his son and find a safe place for him to live. Sworn to for his life, his ship and crew aided them until a former associate of Deb’s needed their aid. Stepping away from Capt Coffey, the Calypso went on this errand of mercy, only to be trapped by the CiW in a snare intended for legitimate Alliance traffic, resulting in the loss of his ship and half of his crew.
