Bio

Filth. Trash. Freak. Beast.

……….Monster………..

So goes the comments and names he has been given. His memories are lost at best or shattered for worse; he knows not who he is nor who his family was, only that he had a family and they were all captured, tortured, and that they all died. Anyone willing to ask him, or tolerate him long enough to ask, would be told that he died as well, that “they took [his] heart.” Although not dumb he doesn’t seem to recognize peoples intent until they take physical action, and even then it must be fairly obvious what they intend to do.

Most people hate him, including most of the other slaves. A few slaves however have come to realize the guards are less aggressive when he is around and they quickly send him to another area when he enters theirs. He is usually kept as busy as possible and he is very complaint to their work demands. Unlike other slaves he doesn’t have chains on his bands and is given freedom to move about- which is usually “take this there… and stay there.”

Personality
He is nice to everyone, usually only speaks in response to being spoken to or asking what is happening if he’s unsure. He isn’t the most beautiful person, nor is he ugly, but something about him just crawls under your skin.

He’s fairly obedient to requests if something “makes sense” but has no reservations on trying to see what is going on in person or if something needs done doing it with little consideration.

He is rather emotionally deadpan: he never seems sad, but he never is happy. When around those his age or younger he does everything he can to make them happy- something quite difficult for him to do. He doesn’t feel happiness on his own and lives vicariously through others; he is only happy in thought and seeing others happy makes him think he is happy. Similarly so, if anyone takes that happiness away from those he wants to see happy, he’ll stop the one making the other unhappy. He may not understand peoples intents to others and is likely to ask if someone is trying to hurt another even if they’re threatening the other. Most the time in the mines he’ll be sent to dark corners to work predominately in isolation or be kept moving items from one area to another (nobody wants to get stuck with him under their watch.)
