Shadows Over Mythkar

Shadows Over Mythkar began as a Pathfinder campaign but was converted to Everquest RPG to take advantage of the more colorful magic items and more boldly-defined classes and spells.

Mythkar is a homebrew world in which an unseen hand seems to be coordinating evil civilizations and monsters against the fragmented “points if light” throughout the land.

This campaign takes place in and around Faldore, a frontier land in the northwest. Faldore has no ruler, being a collection of towns and villages led by mayors and elders…with two cities having self-titled lords.

Faldore is protected by wardens, human rangers trained by the neighboring elves long ago. Wardens protect the many dangerous borders against orcs, goblins, wolfkin, and more. Faldore’s people are quite self-sufficient, but rather than falling into seclusive xenophobia, are quite welcoming to those in need.

There are a few change to the EQ RPG system, noted in the House Rules. The Wiki section also describes important locations the Heroes have visited.
