As told by Ulshar Eldenkin:
Marienburg
My largely illiterate and ineffective companions have decided to take
up training for a week, hopefully this has some effect, while I accept
that not all can follow strictly legal career paths, it would help if
they could be a little more cunning and discreet about their pursuits.
During this time I have managed to find a few potential trade leads,
as well as acquiring us a passenger. The passenger is paying 15 gold
up front, which will help toward acquiring some cargo (in this case
silk). We have also been asked to carry a shipment of doilies which,
due to the recent stock-market collapse and general financial chaos
and panic, are unable to be sold here.
My companions have also áquired’ a cargo of fish, I feel this is
unwise, for obvious reasons, but desisted from raising the matter, as
there is still sufficient space in the Ungenannt to accommodate it,
and we will make no loss.
Villiage where we sold the fish-pots?
We have passed several towns now, and found no willing buyers for the
shellfish. The odour is becoming most rank, and our passenger (rightly
so I think) is complaining rather vocally about the fact. In an effort
to redeem the situation somewhat, it seems we are selling the pots for
8 (?) gold. The purchaser did insist we wash them out however.
Perhaps tomorrow will be more profitable. I also look forward to
visiting a more civilised town.
Night of Terror!
We have been attacked by chaos elements yet again! It seems my old
mentor was correct, chaos is rife in the lands of the humans. [[Beastmen|Beast
men]] ambushed us, as well as fearsome troll. It seems these days I fair
better in battle, though I still find it to be rather distasteful. I
felled one Beastman with an arrow through the head. I must say, I
thought it would make quite a striking figurehead for our barge,
suitable for these savage lands, but alsa most of the beastmen were
swept down river, and, after all, our new companion Felix must make a
living. The troll was considerably more fearsome, and kept
regenerating after our valiant blows. Eventually he was felled by
fire, mostly due to Adelyn’s brave actions, though I did assist rather
ably, if I say so myself. We were indeed sorely put upon though, and
hopefully we escape the attention of chaos agents in the near future.
As told by Alric Konrad (transcribed exactly from his written notes):

GM’s Summary:
The party spent a week on thief training with the League of Gentlemen Entrepreneurs, and trying to find a cargo worth hauling back up the Reik with them. After some dispute over where they were actually headed, they set off aboard their newly renamed barge, the Ungenannt. An attack by Beastmen and a pitch-black Chaos Troll took them by surprise as they passed through the southern Wasteland, but they prevailed, earning unexpected gratitude from the terrified citizens of the nearby town of Zandt.
