Born of a young woman who was taken as a wife by a powerful vampire lord. Godrics mother escaped and fled south to a small town, known as Falling Springs where she could safely raise her son. Godric grew up to be quick-witted, charming, and swift of feet, not knowing of his vampiric heritage.
Strevic was Godrics best friend, they would play together, hunt together, and were virtually inseparable, as were Strevic and the girl he courted, Mareli, which made things quite awkward for Godric as he secretly loved Mareli. Godric spent most of his time hunting in the forests until he got a job at the local tavern sweeping floors and pouring drinks, there he came to know the ins and out of his small town, knowing exactly what was going on at all times, without even trying.
during the winter of Godrics 16 year a stranger came to town and invited Godric to his caravan, the stranger was Edoin, the emissary of the Dutchess Katrina Orinhov, daughter of Lord Vladimir Orinhov. Edoin took Godric to meet his half sister, who told Godric of his vampiric ancestry and tricked him into drinking blood, in order to make him stronger, Godric escaped his sisters castle, killing Edoins most trusted soldier in the attempt.
Katrina told Edoin that Godric needed to learn his place, and sent her emissary to do with Godric and his loved ones what he wished. Edoin attacked Godrics town, starting by threatening Godrics friends Strevic and Mareli, This drove Godric mad and Godric confronted Edoin. The battle resulted in many casualties. but Godric drove Edoin back
Edoin kidnapped Strevic in an attempt to hurt Godric, Mareli begged Godric to help her get him back, Godric went not to save Strevic, whom he had been fighting with, but because Mareli asked him to. She wanted to go with him but he wouldn’t allow it. Godric snuck into Edoins cabin, killed most of his undead servants, and saved his former friend. as he left he killed Edoin with a bullet to the heart.
Katrina, mad with vengeance attacked Falling Springs and killed nearly all the townspeople, including Strevic and Godrics mother. Katrina grabbed Mareli, and told Godric that she would be her personal slave, and her source of blood. Upon leaving she challenged Godric saying “if you want her come and claim her.”
Godric left with everything he could gather and set off to hunt down and kill his sister and save the girl he loves. During his travels he met an outlaw who went by “The Maverick”. The Maverick was a masked bandit who was well known to the world as a symbol of crime. the man let Godric in on a secret, that he wasn’t the first “Maverick” the first maverick is living in paradise after he retired, and the symbol of “the Maverick” has lived on through the mask. and now he wanted Godric to become the new Maverick. Godric accepted, using his now status to strike fear into the heart of his enemies.

“You do not come into my town, threaten people I care about. Going after Mareli? Bad move. You leave her alone or I will rip you to bits. Because I do believe in shooting the messenger. You know why? Because it sends a message. If Katrina wants something from me you tell that bitch to come get it herself.”

“Oh I understand… I understand. He’s the reason you live. His love lifts you up where you belong. I get it. I can’t protect you Mareli. I don`t know how many zombies there are in there. I have to be able to get in and get out. I can`t be distracted with your safety or this will end up a bloodbath that none of us walk away from.”

“Alright I’m prepared to make a deal, if you call off your goons now, I’ll only rip out one of your lungs.”

(Katrina)“I will destroy this slag hole of a town then I will break that girls neck like a twig and suck out her—”

Of course she thinks that Strevic saved her and now hates my guts cause I’m a ‘bloodsucking freak’ but … why dwell.”
