Elementrix was born outside Chernobyl, Ukraine in 1988. First records of Elementrix are of residency at an orphanage in Kiev at age three. Her dancing skills were noticed at age four and she was taken under tutelage to the Russian Ballet. She excelled at ballet and became a premier dancer at the age of 19. In the winter of her 22nd year, Elementrix, then known as ‘Gigi’ began exhibiting signs of power. She accidentally burned down the practice building for the ballet and several people almost lost their lives. Thus began a life on the run in which both the Russian and Ukrainian governments vied for control of Elementrix, each laying claim to her citizenship and wishing to use her for their own means. Being an independent woman with a will of her own, Elementrix escaped east across the Asian continent, stowing away on a tanker ship to Seattle from Russia.

Elementrix arrived in Seattle and decided to do more with her powers and joined the JCD. She has attained refugee status and wishes to remain hidden from the Russian and Ukrainian authorities with fear of returning to her homeland.

Having assisted in the triumphant defeat of the Chaldathan Armada, Gigi quietly faded from the limelight, perhaps returning to her homeland, or perhaps selling her unique talents to another team. Whispers within the Russian Mafia speak of her being a force for vengeance among her people now living in the US, and few wish to cross her. The Elementrix, they say, can be far colder than the Siberian winter.
