Sabine is 5’3" with a small frame and big, red eyes. She has white hair down to her hips and albino skin. She always wears black, fitted body armor, complete with black gloves and black combat boots. When she’s outside she wears a black helmet with tinted visor. Her nodachi is always strapped to her back and her gun is in a holster on her thigh. She drives a motorcycle [I will fill in the type later]. She looks young, and has the potential for big helpless bambi-eyes, but she usually looks pissed off and is no where near helpless.

Bio

Sabine grew up in Vancouver, the daughter of a wealthy doctor who specialized in cyberware. She was born an albino, which gave her a very striking appearance as well as a rather serious allergy to the sun and very sensitive red eyes. Because of her condition Sabine was unable to play outside, which made it difficult for her to make friends. Sabine, like any other child of a wealthy family, was raised more by her after school activities and her nanny than her parents. Piano lessons, gymnastic lessons, dance lessons, soccer, tae kwon do, Sabine was placed in them all. With her obvious condition, her wealth, and her obvious lack of social skills, Sabine was pretty much the social underdog and eventually her parents gave up on sending her to private school and home-schooled her instead.

When she turned ten Sabine’s father started learning more about bioware since there was more money in the business. Sabine’s new little sister was her father’s crowning glory in his bioware pursuits. The perfect child. She too was placed into a plethora of after school activities, however unlike Sabine her little sister naturally excelled at them all.

Life as the ordinary child in the shadow of the genetically modified sister wore on Sabine and by the time she turned 16 she decided it was simply time to leave.

Sabine’s father had become a massive success, so she figured he wouldn’t miss a goodly size chunk of change. She transferred some cash into her junior account one night with the intention of opening a new account and closing her old one. After packing a light bag Sabine left.

Sabine’s father did notice the money missing, and that Sabine had closed out her junior account, however he had been unable to report it stolen since he hadn’t been reporting his second income to the government. Her father had been dealing some bioware on the black market, and that extra revenue was naturally left un-taxed. He was going to try and hire a private firm to tract down his money, however he was quickly distracted when he was arrested by the authorities for his black market dealings and tax fraud.

Sabine crossed over into the US. Because of all of her childhood after school activities she was able to make some money fighting in small scale MMA competitions. More often than not she got her ass handed to her. Her tenacity, her unusual appearance, and her surly attitude is what caught the eye of Blake Blazer. He presented himself as a kind of agent, willing to help her move up in the MMA arena. Blake also introduced Sabine to Chop Shop Bob, who started upgrading Sabine with cyberware to advance her into different fighting classes. Bob helped Sabine transfer her stolen money from an American account under her name to another account under an alias. Insuring that there is a little money set aside that not even Blake knows about.

The cyberware was paid for by Blake, placing Sabine into debt. Blake now receives the majority percentage of every job Sabine completes until her massive cyberware debt is repaid. The rush of new cyberware was somewhat addictive, and Sabine’s continual upgrades got a little out of hand. Eventually Chop Shop Bob simply refused to add anything new. To this day he will only repair the parts Sabine already has.

Because Blake now pretty much owned Sabine, he took her out of fighting competitions and instead made her a street samurai for hire. He told her it was because this would pay off her debt quicker, however time has marched on and Sabine’s debt seems to remain just as overwhelming as ever.
