Jessie was born into this kind of life. Her mother and father were both members of The Falcons before the war destroyed it. Her father was one of the most prominant members of the Falcons and as such was arrested after the war ended and she and her mother were left to fend for themselves. Jessie refused to let her legacy be destroyed so easily but the new Rogue Falcons fearing her patronage might compromise were extremely hesitant to let her into their ranks. But her determination and skill was great enough that they decided to give her a break, and that was the last time she would ever get one. Despite being an exceptional pilot, smooth-talking pirate and take-no-shit ruffian, her success within The Rogue Falcons was painstakingly slow. She had to prove herself twice as much as the next member and that pattern hardened her. After six years within the organization she was eventually given command of The Swamp Rat, one of the fleet’s least desired yet surprisingly reliable vessels.
