FYI, I have made an addendum to the flaws page.

A character can remove his flaw at any time with the sacrifice of a standard feat, meaning a feat gained at odd levels. You cannot sacrifice a bonus feat for this.

This shows your ability to overcome your fears and give you a little more control of your character.
