Bio
Cassus is a former clone trooper of the Grand Army of the Republic. He served as Sergeant CT-404 in the 20th Sector Army, assigned to the Rimma Trade Route on the southern side of the Inner Rim. His known and recorded engagements include the Siege of Thyferra, in which his squad helped to recover bacta processing facilities from Separatist forces.
As this engagement wound to a close, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine enacted GAR Contingency Order 66, and the Republic forces turned on their commanding Jedi officers. His squad in particular terminated their regiment’s Jedi Commander but failed to neutralize the padawan’s master, Ni-Fa Mundi.
Cassus’ entire Company was later honorably discharged after taking heavy losses in the push to wipe out the remaining Confederate forces, and he spent some time in medical leave recovering from injuries sustained in these battles. During this time he met Drake Vanesh and, despite the wishes of his former squadmates, left with the boy to seek his fortune in the Outer Rim.
