The LE-Series droids built by Cybot Galactica are meant to combine the engineering skills of an Astromech Droid with the communication and social skills of a Protocol Droid. These droids are often quite well suited for operating in rougher terrain where wheeled droids cannot operate and are very popular with spaceport crews.
