As a Rutian Twi’lek, Rhotana’s skin color is a soft pale aquamarine shade. Her skin tone is among the rarest Twi’lek skin hues. Rhotana has a lithe, and petite structure. Her arms and legs are strong reflecting that of an adventurer not your average Twi’lek slave stereotype, although not at the cost of loosing her shapely feminine appeal. Her eyes are almond shaped with understated purple-blue irises, and her complexion is surprisingly pristine for someone whose spent a fair amount of time on Tatooine. Her face has a heart-like contour, with high cheekbones. Rhotana’s headtails are worn off to her left side and draped over her shoulder. She wears a scarlet flight jacket. A purple silk high-color long sleeve blouse embroidered with black diamond shaped mesh padding, and grey streamlined flight pants. Her twi’lek head piece is a single band accented with Mandalorian Iron. “Glass beads” in the head piece obscure the encrypted tracking device built in which allows her droids to locate her. She is deceptively seen as sweet-natured, but is incredibly ambitious and in her element when navigating the galactic underground. Her (French) accent is not as pronounced as others of her species, but she can easily slip into it if if benefits her current deception. (Twi’leks featured in The Clone Wars all speak with French accents. According to Dave Filoni, this was specifically requested by Lucas.)
Rhotana Vor is a mastercraft tech specialist and intelligence broker who sells secrets usually within the Galactic Criminal Underground. She has a network of intelligence agents who help her gather intel and sell information discreetly to the highest bidder. Her early life and business other than the generalized description given above is still a mystery. She becomes a companion of the characters when she slices their starship computer, after escaping the Korriban station, and offers them a job. In exchange for helping her seek out the fabled vault of a legendary space pirate Darok Madar, she provides false identities and records for the heroes to keep Droga’s bounty hunters off their tail. It was discovered (at the conclusion of Chapter 1) that the young twi’lek sith who encountered Caribacca and Bax outside Darok Madar’s vault is also Rhotana’s daughter. She explained that her daughter was taken away from her as an infant.
