Description

The Mark VIII is based off the Mark VI with an emphasis on improving mobility by adding an advanced spacepack mobility system. The miniature life support was enhanced for up to 24 hours of operation in space or underwater. The jet system has been enhanced with extra fuel and a repulsor-lift system allowing extended space maneuvers and greater flight range in atmosphere as well as underwater propulsion. The bulk of the flight pack prevents the use of the suit in some vehicles, but the magnetic boots were augmented with saddle-clamp magnets to assist in staying mounted on speeder bikes and swoops and a set of equipment clamps for securing weapons and other gear.
