Miss Eleanor Burnham is a younger (mid-teens) distant cousin of the Featheringstonehaughs. She is a relatively new hire (less than a year), and is a replacement for another young woman of character and distinction whose delicate sensibilities were a little overly challenged by Cecile’s last expedition. Her primary job functions on this expedition will be largely as they are under more normal circumstances, but will include strict instructions to KEEP HER HEAD BLOODY WELL DOWN in the case of conflict. And protect the tea service.
