Sturmgeist is a pulp adventure role playing game set in a world very similar to our own in 1935. As a matter of fact it is indistinguishable from our own with one small exception, magic is real. Most people think that magic is the stuff of legends and bed-time stories, but for some it is very real. BACKGROUND
In the spring of 1935 the world is recovering from the great depression but already the rumblings of a coming storm can be heard on the horizon. The growing strength of the Nazi party in Germany are heralded by many as the next great threat to the safety of the world. Some scoff, but some are watchful and wary. The Global Security Agency, a multi-national group of spies has agents throughout the world with the singular goal of keeping the growing threat of national socialism in Germany and throughout the world in check.
The GSA has learned that for reasons unknown Adolf Hitler has sent out agents of his own to learn about and find a number of artifacts of historical and religious importance. Why the 3rd Reich is interested in such things is anyone’s guess, but whatever they’re about they must be stopped. To that end the GSA has begun to recruit agents with knowledge and skills necessary to thwart the Nazi plans.
