Long ago, in the final days of Arkhosia, a small band of dragonborn hid away the last egg of their clan deep within their home, before a final stand against a group of invaiding Bael Turath army. They won the battle, but at the cost of their lives. The egg remained hidden in the treasure trove and time claimed the dragonborn city as it claims all things eventually. One day a young dragon named Tyristys was exploring the area for things to add to her treasure. Among the ruins she found the long lost egg. Its golden shell and silver flaming patterns were too aluring to resist and she took it to add to her treasure. For years and years she kept the egg as one of her most prized possesions. One day to her surprise the egg began to crack and hiss. Thick clouds spewed out from it as the shell shattered to pieces and a young dragonborn with golden yellow scaly skin and occasional silver scales sat before her coughing small embers out of its adorable little mouth. Suprised Tyristys raised the dragonborn for a few years teaching it some basic things, before finally getting fed up with all that he needed and placed him in the care of a local church of Pelor. From there the young dragonborn was taken care of and when they saw he had a talent for becoming a Paladin, they began his training immediately. Once his training was done they gave him a name for his adulthood, as was custom for dragonborn. Fresh out of his training and ready to take on the world and spread the light of Pelor to the darkest places of the world, Balshazar set out to Tyristys to show her his progress, for she was like a mother to him. However, she had left her previous home. With the help of some rituals from his church he located Tyristys again and with a few companions of his he set out to return to her in her new home Kiris Dahn. What awaits Balshazar of the Ancient Shell? None but the Raven Queen can say for sure.
