Billed as “Vladimir the Giant” in the Drake Brothers Carnival, Vladimir was a huge bear of a man, a laughing bully, and apparently not above attempting to force himself on women. He died sometime shortly after midnight on October 17, 1935, apparently mauled by some wild animal.
