Bio

Jader was born in the Noble house of BearCharger where their main source of income was the manufacturing and sale of fur. Born the eldest of two sons, fruit of the union of human Isaac and elf maiden Gwaerenil, Jader was very close to his mother and loved hearing the stories of her youth and all the adventures she had before meeting her husband. Eventually Isaac became too greedy and his only interest was creating a fortune out of the BearCharger business to the point where he began neglecting his family, Gwaerenil left the Bearcharger household.

On that night Jader recalls a very vivid dream. A dream where under the moonlight he sees the silhouette of a beautiful Elven maiden that spoke to him in the Elven tongue and said “I love you both, please do not think otherwise. My departure had nothing to do with you, I had to leave due to a greater calling. If I could I would take you both with me but it could prove too dangerous for such young boys. I know that both of you will grow into strong men and make me very proud. You will hear things said about me, You might even believe them and come to hate me but no matter what I will always love you. My brave boys, Jader and Thoril. Good-bye.” Jader was pained by the absence of his mother the next day and blamed his father for her departure. Thoril was too young to remember much of Gwaerenil but Jader would talk about her and convey the stories that she once told him.

Jader was expected to take over the family business and his strict father forced upon him to be educated in finance. Uninterested in the boring life of a young wealthy noble Jader decided to run away from home to seek a life of freedom and adventure (He also thought that he might have a chance enounter with his mother and ask the real reason of her departure). Just a year shy from finishing his education at Vurbane’s School of Wizardry and Warriory. Jader changed his surname to MountainKings in order to try to evade any efforts of his father from finding him. As a clever trouble maker at school the transition to a sneaky thief to sustain himself became easy. He communicates with his younger brother whom he misses via messenger pigeons.

After enjoying his new found freedom he eventually hears rumors of a gathering happening in Barton that seems promising in adventures and fortune. Jader contacts his brother letting him know that he shall return to Barton under a different surname. He is to be known as “MountainKings” whenever in town so as to not alert his father of his return, however when on quests he is not ashamed to let the party know that he is Thoril’s older brother.
