Linda Kincade
Status - Alive
Description
A young beautiful red haired women. Her face shows her resolve and her eyes show an extremely analytical mind behind them, especially for one so young. Though extended time in the Shadowfell often causes despair, apathy, paranoia, and madness in people, Linda seems to be unfazed.
Bio
A Crimson Sash Mercenary of unquestionable skill. Linda is an ambitious tactician who inspires loyalty in those that follow her. Her ability to lead is demonstrated in the fact that she holds no actual authority in her organization over the men who follow her yet they do so without question.
A little over half a year ago she lead a group of Crimson Sash Mercenaries to capture Leon for the reward offered by Prince Rolan. Her efforts were contested by a group from House Harskel who wanted Leon’s head as well not for the money but rather to secure their place within the house. Her efforts ultimately failed though she faired far better than the group from House Harskel. When her second in command, Louis Fieser, was capture she came to a bargain with The Broken Dawn.
In the end the two parties came up with a contract. For the following three months Linda and her men would help train the town of Kestone‘s militia in exchange for a large sum of gold from the town’s treasury. The other part of the contract was that Linda and her group would not divulge any specifics about the town, its guards, The Lords, or their actions/whereabouts during and after the contract was complete.
Though never stated in the actual contract it was a simple buy-off. Linda and her group would stop hunting Leon and remain silent about his presence when they returned to the Shadowfell in exchange for lots of gold and free living expenses for three months. However while The Broken Dawn believes Linda will keep her word and there by ensuring her men do as well, there are a few others in the Shadowfell, particularly other Crimson Sash members, who know where Linda and Company left for and what they intended to do. While her silence won’t tell them anything specific, most of them have been in the game long enough to know what transpired. Thereby knowing the belief Leon may have been in Maycon was correct.
