Bio
Izil’s slow wit and uncooth behavior planted him as a captive forced to labor the forests of the Northlands until he met Kjeld. When none would show compassion Kjeld’s kindness and passion to explore the wastes bolstered Izil’s resolve and cultivated his desire to travel after Kjeld leading to his liberation. In reuniting with Kjeld, Kjeld’s kindness has been repaid through Izil’s endless devotion to Kjeld.

When Izil is not adventuring he spends his time in town. Without Kjeld, the cleric loyal to Venir, around to protect Izil, Izil is seen as a brute to most of the towns commoners and is often mistreated or taken advantage of. Recently such prejudice was demonstrated by the [[Enonia]]’s militia, an arrogant yet cowardly bunch who hide behind the laws and walls of his majesty. They convinced the dull witted Izil to work with them assuring Izil would live better than he would on the street. They promised a warm place to stay and work to be done at a fair price and had Izil sign his mark. Without Kjeld Izil succumbed to the pressures of the militia and began his work with them to fill his empty belly until Kjeld arrived to take care of him. The work was demeaning and laughs came at poor Izil’s expense. The men of the militia convinced Izil to wrestle a bear outside of town and placed wages regarding if the Bear or Izil would win. Commoners gathered, watched and laughed and when Izil threw the match because he did not want to take another living beings life. Izil had witnessed Dul “Lone Ranger” of the wild respect all kinds of nature and only commitment to violence when his life was threatened. In malice for Izil throwing the fight the kings militia reneged on rewarding Izil with prize moeney promised to him earlier. To survive Izil took this work but now Izil harbors resentment those behind the walls of Enonia who are dishonest. Who used him as a errand boy and laugh at his expense. His faith in Kjeld, Izil’s best friend, and Vanir, the blade of frost, was the only hope that carried him through this adversity when Kjeld was no where to be found.
