HIGH CONCEPT: BILLIONAIRE ADVENTURER
TROUBLE: I DON’T DESERVE THIS
- MONEY IS LIKE A SUPER POWER
- AMERICA’S RICHARD BRANSON
- SEATTLE BORN AND BRED
- CEO: WESTWARD INC.
- FATE’S WICKED SMILE
SUPERB +5: Resources
GREAT +4: Presence
GOOD +3: Contacts, Empathy, Rapport
FAIR +2: Athletics, Conviction, Discipline, Scholarship
AVERAGE +1: Alertness, Deceit, Endurance, Guns
- GREASE THE WHEELS
-1 Time Increment for any skill check in which money might be able to speed things up. This can represent speeding up a social roll by throwing around bribes but more commonly reducing the amount of time needed to get hard to find gear or permits and things like that.
- THE BEST TEACHERS
Spend a Fate Chip, until the end of the scene you may use Resources as a complimentary skill for any physical activity the character may have received training in. This is similar to one of the True Faith powers but more limited in scope. It would basically allow me to be a little more effective in combat when I’m willing to drop a fate chip.
- I COULD BUY AND SELL YOU
Use resources for social attacks. Intimidation isn’t really my characters strong suit, but most of the time being rich is intimidating enough. In reality this is a little more limited than a standard stunt since obviously it couldn’t be used against things that don’t know about money (I think most fairy would be susceptible, even powerful fay seem to need to curry influence in the real world) or things that don’t know that I have money, however I could also use this for non-intimidation style attacks potentially.
- LUSH LIFESTYLE
This one is straight out of the book, this guy is really rich and uses his base resources for assumed equipment.
Also from the book, spend a fate chip to gain +4 resources for one roll. Billy has always been very lucky, and when he needs to he basically has plot point money. I probably won’t use this all that often, but it’s there.
Billy West is one of the many success stories that came out of the technology boom of the ‘90s, through sales skills, cunning, and luck he managed to build himself into one of the richest men in America. While at one time William fancied himself an adventurer he has since re-focused himself on business and community, leaving the death defying to the professionals. That does not mean the he has been idol however, in the past year William has made inroads with media outlets and supernatural fringe groups, he’s been moving chess pieces about the board but no one but him knows what his ultimate goal may be.
